Breaking the morning silence
   a Japanese nightingale has returned
      in the neighborhood.
In high spirits
   telling a pass of exam
      in the March class.

Falling cherry blossoms
on the baby in my arms
      the time gets standstill.

On my left shoulder
   a petal of cherry blossom
      broke her trip.
In the spring wind

Scarf around my neck
   cherry blossoms viewing
      how simple my costume is!

Falsehood from overseas
   Japan's paper reported naively
      All Fool's Day.
Everything is a blur
   in the spring storm
      scattering petals.

One after another
   showing up after rain
      good taste of spring.

One spring evening
I listened to "the Best of Enya,"
      cheered and healed.
One spring evening
I listened to "the Best of Enya,"
      a gift of a friend.

Unexpected chill
   half-bloomed cherry blossoms
      a hesitant look.
A bouquet of spring
   wild flowers make you
      a radiant bride.

Cherry trees blooming
   the students smiling brightly
      birth of a new day.
